"I am 33 year old with uncompensated labirynthitis (constant dizziness), which causes extreme fatigue. One ear finally stopped functioning last year and seemed to send my balance into free fall. This generally means that at my best it feels like I am on the deck of a ship on moving waters and at my worst on a constant fairground ride. I have taken numerous medications over the years, but it has adverse effects preventing my other ear from ever learning to compensate for the loss. I had exhausted all other avenues with various practitioners before finding Sylvia. This particular treatment was new to me and Sylvia seemed confident she could teach my body to learn to compensate naturally.
At first I found it to be an hour that left me deeply relaxed but now I realize there is a hell of a lot more going on in these sessions. This is very hard for me to explain but I was shocked at the speed in which I learnt to pick up on and notice my energy as Sylvia worked with it. During the treatments I personally feel like I experience an elevated energy realm. Dizziness can often leave me feeling oddly disconnected from my body but instead of panic I feel a strange inner strength and an ability to put my absolute trust in Sylvia while she works. At the end of each session her explanation of what she was doing with energy corresponded exactly with what I felt was happening. Sylvia’s work feels very subtle yet extremely powerful. I can somehow understand my problem more by being given the chance to take a step away and see it from a distance. A wonderfully relaxing and stress free process. It would have been unrealistic and unfair to expect Sylvia to have healed me overnight because this is a long standing illness that the NHS have not managed to help in over a decade. I am just starting to see improvements, because of Sylvia, I definitely seem to have become emotionally stronger and less rocked by the challenges of dealing with vertigo on a daily basis leaving my energy free to change old patterns and carry on healing in-between treatments.
